Pipedrive unveiled a network of intelligent AI agents to help customers throughout the sales process like teammates. Pipedrive is an AI-supported sales customer relationship management (CRM) system.

The platform helps sales professionals streamline and automate their workflows, allowing them to focus on leads and strategy. With this update, Pipedrive is enhancing its existing AI capabilities by introducing agents that can operate autonomously with minimal human input—aligning with the growing industry trend of agentic AI.

While Pipedrive’s AI agents can operate independently, the company emphasizes that salespeople remain in control. Each agent is customized to the customer’s specific needs, offering voice and text-based assistance to handle routine tasks, relay important information, and streamline time-consuming work such as research, summarizing lengthy reports, composing emails, and managing schedules.

For instance, an AI agent could generate personalized emails for leads, explain its choice of wording, and highlight key research insights. This allows sales professionals to focus more on lead generation, urgent follow-ups, and high-value opportunities without losing track of potential deals.

The new agentic experience builds upon Pipedrive AI, which integrates OpenAI’s large language models with Pipedrive’s proprietary software. It includes an AI assistant, summarization tools, recommendations, proposal generation, and sales pipeline insights. These new agentic teammates leverage the same AI technology, enabling them to perform these tasks autonomously when prompted.

Additionally, the agents can interact with Pipedrive Pulse, an AI-powered prospecting tool currently in closed beta. Pulse helps sales teams identify, research, and engage with potential customers, prioritizing deals, minimizing manual workload, and optimizing sales strategies based on available data.

Looking ahead to 2025, Pipedrive plans to enhance its platform and agentic capabilities further. This includes an upgraded version of Pulse, set for a full launch in the spring, expanding access to the entire customer base.
